At Bartlett Company you have several choices:

• Purchase a pre-built home ready to move into.
• Purchase one of our lots with a home designed for today’s living, and make modifications to personalize your new home.
• Start from scratch by working with Bartlett Company to locate a lot in a neighborhood or street of your choice and either draw from our library of plans (Semi-custom Home) or we can design from a clean sheet (Custom Home)

When the solution calls for a lot to be found and a new home to be designed and built, we call this “Personal Home Development” as we are in essence developing a home for a very particular market; YOU. We have the same fundamental steps as we would if developing a spec home, except instead of designing to a theoretical buyer, we are focusing 100% on your needs. That is why homes designed and produced through our “Personal Home Development” Services are so successful. These homes are designed to meet you and your family’s specific needs and desires.

Homes designed under the “Personal Home Development” program cost less as you do not have to pay for any amenity or item that is not on your wish list. You do not have the Developer fees, nor carrying costs built into the price of your home. These may be produced under a fixed price or cost plus fee approach; it is totally up to you.

Our Design/Build methods for new homes are comprised of a two part phased approach to ensure you are comfortable with the relationship, costs and product.

Phase I: We pull the concept and pricing together, balancing your needs, with the aesthetics of the home and your budget. Here we ensure that we can meet your needs and budget.

Phase II: The commitment is made to complete the plans, apply for the permit, finalize selections and produce the home.

During Construction we will have regular meetings and reports to track and project the schedule, communicate any billings, changes and above all ensure your satisfaction.

Upon Completion we will educate you in the maintenance of your home, provide a manual with all the manufacturers warrantees, operation manuals, care and maintenance instructions and a two-year warrantee.
